We are excited to introduce Kristin Berry as the official Chair of our new Allyship Committee! An Entrepreneur, Tea Sommelier, and Business Communication Coach, Kristin is a proud ally and Christian advocate for Israel and will offer her expertise on tackling difficult conversation topics centred around Israel and the current war.
“I don’t have to wonder what (Israel’s) embodiment of freedom looks like […] they are already demonstrating that within the structures of their society: women’s rights, the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, [and] their democracy,” Kristin says in her recent video with AVI.

Spadina—Fort York MP Kevin Vuong, a staunch ally and advocate for Am Yisrael, recently created a petition that calls upon the Government of Canada to ban the slogan: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”
The slogan is inherently genocidal and willfully promotes hatred and violence against Jewish people. It has been widely misappropriated by anti-Israel organizations, protesters, and academics in campuses across the country.
Attention university students: Come and celebrate Israel’s 76th birthday with us on May 16th in Toronto!
In partnership with StandWithUs Canada, CJPAC, and Hillel Ontario, AVI is proud to present an evening that celebrates our Jewish pride and connection to our indigenous homeland.
If you’re looking for a night full of delicious food, great vibes, and fantastic music, then this is it. An enduring reminder that no matter how many challenges Israel faces, #weWILLdanceagain.

Former NFL star, Fox sports commentator, and author Emmanuel Acho is our ally spotlight! |
Last week, Sports Commentator, Former NFL Athlete, and our #AllySpotlight Emmanuel Acho released his third book with Noa Tishby, Israel’s former special envoy for combating antisemitism and the author of a popular explainer on Israel, called “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew.”
Featuring a series of frank discussions on Jewish stereotypes, the nature of Judaism and the overlap between anti-Zionism and antisemitism, the book seeks to create a space for frank conversations to take place and address the rise in antisemitism that has taken place around the world.
